What’s been happening:

After graduating I began working for Proctor and Gamble Company in Cincinnati as a Design Engineer. I was transferred to Jackson, TN for the start up of the first Pringles Potato Chip Plant. Three years later I returned to Cincinnati to work on the design of the frying machine for the second Pringles Plant that ultimately was built in Greenville, NC. We lived in Greenville for 7 years where our two children Jason and Bethany were both born. In 1981 I left P&G to take a job as the Plant Engineer with Bunge Foods in Chattanooga, TN and have lived here ever since then. I left Bunge in 1988 to start my own consulting business marketing electric power products offered by the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA). In 1998 I started a manufacturers rep business that led to selling high temperature severe duty air conditioning equipment for Nordic Air. In 2006 I accepted employment with Nordic Air with responsibility for sales in the southeast. Our son Jason is an engineer with an MBA working for Shaw Industries in Dalton, GA as a projects engineer. Our daughter Bethany works in research in Indianapolis at Indiana University Purdue University at Indianapolis (IUPUI). She has masters degrees in speech pathology and deaf education. My wife Jackie and I just celebrated our 40 wedding anniversary and look forward to the weddings of both of our children in the next year and retiring soon.
